Week in Review: 8/5-8/12

A brief glimpse at ten highlights from the past seven days:

• Stayed in beautiful Knoxville, Tennessee for the first time
• Caught up with our old friends, the Jobes, who played the role of splendid hosts
• Experienced the beauty and smokiness of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park
• Stayed in beautiful (and quirky) Asheville, North Carolina for the first time
• Took a cruise down the Blue Ridge Parkway (America's favorite drive)
• Said hello to our new digs in Richmond, Virginia and our friendly landlord, Stretch
• Moved furniture and unpacked belongings (repeat continuously)
• Began the adventures of "church shopping" in Richmond
• Received our first visitor, my wonderful mom (who we may not let leave!)
• Started to get to know our new neighborhood...the sights, the sounds, the smells, the scenes, etc.
