Week in Review: 10/28-11/4

A brief review of the past week:
  • The NBA season starts...Go Spurs Go!
  • Took our first drive down Hanover street to see some extreme Halloween fanaticism
  • Had lunch with classmates at our professor's house when he rescheduled an Organizational Theory class to his place due to a schedule conflict (and he made a tasty Italian wedding soup)
  • Caught a free viewing of "Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince" with free popcorn thanks to the student activity association
  • The annual tradition continues: pizza and a movie at home for dinner on Halloween
  • Handed out some candy, met some friendly neighbors, and saw neighborhood patroling at work when one of our neighbors chased some pumpkin-throwing teenagers away
  • Penny enjoyed numerous compliments for her festive fall wardrobe and Halloween costume
  • The weather's getting colder and wetter, and "autumn leaves start to fall"
  • Pulled my first doctoral program all-nighter as I got closely acquainted with institutional theory
  • Met Aubree's classmates and faculty at her department's fall semester afternoon social
