Week in Review: 1/13-1/20

A brief review of the past week:

• Frustrations with the DMV
• Found a Latino grocery store and experimented making tortillas and almost-horchata from Danielle in Nicaragua
• Enjoyed a brief pre-semester daytrip to Shenandoah National Park, enjoying peaceful winter scenes in the mountains (and having fun watching Penny frolic in the snow)
• Experienced an Indonesian baby shower
• Catching up with classmates
• Watched some NFL playoffs
• Attended a Mercy & Justice committee meeting (with spaghetti dinner!)
• Started the first week of the spring semester
• Completed the second season of Flight of the Conchords
• Date night with Aubree: chai tea and macaroons
