A Piece of Greece

  
The 34th annual Greek festival was held this week, and we enjoyed the opportunity to partake in a small piece of this year's festivities.
Joined by a couple of friends from school, we enjoyed the timeless Greek dishes of moussaka, dolmades, spanakopita, souvlaki, and baklava.  As we dined, we listened to live Greek music and watched groups of teens and children from the Byzantio Hellenic Dance Troupe perform authentic Greek dances.  When our bellies were full and the sun became too intense for our liking, we headed inside to take a look at the festival's "agora" marketplace.
