For most people, Friday is a day that is highly anticipated throughout the week. For the art community, the First Friday of each month brings even greater anticipation as downtown turns its spotlight to its art galleries and the local artists that have been busy at work.
We recently enjoyed our city's First Friday event (also called "Artwalk"), and it's an activity that we also often enjoyed while living in San Antonio. I suppose that's another reason that we enjoy it, that it reminds us of our time in San Antonio. It also doesn't hurt that we can find tacos at First Friday thanks to Nate's Taco Truck!
