Week in Review: 8/12-8/19

A brief glimpse at highlights from the past seven days:

• (Almost) finished moving in to our apartment
• Checked out our neighborhood farmer's market
  
• Continued church shopping with visits to two churches: East End Fellowship & All Saints Reformed Presbyterian
• Found a grocery store we like! http://www.ellwoodthompsons.com/
• Began orientation activities at the MCV campus...we're officially students again
  
• Got plenty of free stuff & food thanks to the previously mentioned orientation activities
• Made & ate our first-ever batch of "Brighton Beach Eggplant"
• Enjoyed home-baked whole wheat bread (great for toast with butter & honey!)
• Stepped foot in a Trader Joe's for the first time ever
• Randomly ran twice into an old Trinity friend, Sarah Fagan, while on campus at MCV
