Week in Review: 2/24-3/3

A brief review of the past week:
  • Thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful visit from cousin Matthew
  • In the midst of cold, rainy weather, took a trip back to Texas for some tortilla soup and quesadillas
  • Toured the coffee shops and tea traders of Richmond
  • Made progress on a board game prototype
  • Traveled to Greece for some baba ganoush, moussaka, and dolmades
  • Strolled through Carytown
  • Experienced Tom Leonard's grocery-store-meets-Chuck E. Cheese
  • Hunted for exotic cheeses (we found some) and ginger ice cream (we didn't)
  • Traveled to south India for some dosas, Madras coffee, and Limca
  • Learned a few new fun board games
  • Walked through Church Hill
  • Doodled some cartoons and logos
  • Enjoyed vespers dinner after church
  • The end of the Vancouver Olympic Winter Games...USA wins the total medal count, but we were still fairly polite guests (the Canadians won the most golds, including men's hockey)
  • Back to work after a memorable weekend
