A brief review of the past week:
- A wonderful trip to visit family in Cooperstown (although it seemed to go by too quickly)
- Delicious meals...hamballs, hobo pies, baked ham, mashed potatoes, cole slaw, baked beans, fresh corn, dilly beans, cucumbers, fresh tomatoes, homemade bread, George Washington pie, carrot cake, molasses cookies, ham salad sandwiches, etc.
- Canoeing down the Allegheny river, with adventurous tales involving the Allegheny River Mermaids and Sasquash
- A fun evening of a hobo dinner over a fire, conversation, and games at Amber & Jeremy's
- Meeting Hannah for the first time (who is super cute)
- Relaxing evenings on the porch watching assorted wildlife and chatting with family
- Riding Grandpa's tractor and checking out the garden
- Visiting the bridge under construction on Lake Creek Road with Aunt Judy
- A lovely Sunday afternoon of food, family, and games
- Enjoying the fresh veggies from Pennsylvania here in Richmond
- Terrific weather as the temperatures drop both in Pennsylvania as well as Virginia...a welcome break from summer heat!
- The fall semester begins with various orientation activities
